An erroneous report made its way through social media Saturday morning indicating that retired quarterback Jay Cutler turned down a contract offer from the Miami Dolphins.
In response to said report, Cutler’s agent had this to say.
Not sure where sources are coming from but as of 10:50am Jay Cutler hasn't made any decisions. Stay tuned for actual on the record

Cutler has been linked to the Dolphins since starter Ryan Tannehill went down with a potentially season-ending knee injury during practice on Thursday. Latest reports suggested the two sides were closing in on a deal.
This is just the latest example of the new media norm putting the cart before the horse.
At this point, we’re not even sure the Dolphins have offered Cutler a contract. Heck, Miami isn’t 100 percent certain on Tannehill’s long-term status. Meanwhile, Cutler himself is preparing to join the Fox booth as an analyst this upcoming NFL season.
We do know Cutler has a history with Dolphins head coach Adam Gase, who served as his offensive coordinator with the Chicago Bears in 2015. It makes sense the two sides would be interested given Cutler’s experience in Gase’s offense. But at this point, nothing appears to be imminent.
