On the day that five-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady turns 40, another fountain of youth NFL player story was shared. Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison, spends $300,000 annually on various treatments and personal services to maintain his strength and health. He turned 39 in May.

Harrison shared the details as to what exactly the $300K covers which includes “elite technicians.”

“The people I use right now, you can’t find none of them on Google,” Harrison said, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. “I see everybody at least once a week.”

Harrison says he receives an array of  personal services from specialized massage therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists.  He even has “a person who does cupping.”

The incredible thing is that Harrison personally books all of the technicians’ travel and pays for their flights. When he is not handling travel itineraries, No. 92 is at the gym working out like a machine to stay in top physical form.

The Steelers signed Harrison to a two-year, $3.5 million contract that could see him playing at the age of 40 through the 2018 season. Harrison has proved he still has plenty of gas left in the tank after 14 years in the league.

He is quite an anomaly, to say the least.
