Lamp was later determined to have suffered an ACL tear and is out for the year.
Chargers second-round pick, Forrest Lamp, is now out for season and their first-round pick, Mike Williams, can't be counted on for season.

This is just awful news, both for Lamp — a small-school stud who was expected to start — and the Chargers. The offensive line was a big area of weakness that the team addressed in the draft, first with Lamp in the second round and then with Dan Feeney in the third round.
Lamp wowed scouts throughout the pre-draft process. A tackle at Western Kentucky, he projected as an elite NFL guard, which was why he was taken where he was. Losing Lamp is very detrimental to the offense as a whole.
