Martellus Bennett slept on floor next to Packers locker Tuesday night

New Green Bay Packers tight end Martellus Bennett is apparently raring to go before his first training camp with his new team.

He was so excited to get going that he apparently slept on the floor in front of his locker Tuesday night, based on what he shared early Wednesday morning.

Bennett hit the road late Tuesday night and shared he was finally on his way after tucking his kiddo into bed, via his Instagram account.

Last year was one of the best in nine seasons as a member of the New England Patriots. He helped Tom Brady and Co. win a fifth Super Bowl title, catching 55 passes for 701 yards and seven touchdowns.

Interestingly, Bennett recently said Brady isn’t the best quarterback he’s played with. That honor goes to his current teammate, Aaron Rodgers, though that’s an argument that isn’t all that controversial, is it?

Green Bay is considered a favorite among many NFL analysts to win the NFC title and make its way to Super Bowl LII — something Packers CEO Mark Murphy actually guaranteed a few days ago.

Needless to say, Bennett has a few reasons to be geeked about the upcoming season.
