Look: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas shows up to work in this old car

Check out this ride Jonas Valanciunas pulled up to work in.

Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas is coming off a 2016-17 season that saw him earn a whopping $15.5 million. He’s set to earn north of $34 million over the next two years. From this perspective, life is grand for a player that’s currently on the trade block.

But we wouldn’t know this by looking at the ride Valanciunas pulled up in while practicing with the Lithuanian National Team in preparation for EuroBasket 2017.

Yes, that’s a 1992 Audi 80 worth an estimated $1,378. Is Valanciunas being frugal or is it possible that he just needed a car on a whim? Either way, that’s one ugly-looking ride.

The good news here? It looks like the veteran center has been shopping around for a sexier ride.

Let’s hope for his sake, Valanciunas decides to actually splurge on one of those suckers. After all, no 7-foot man should be forced do drive around in an Audi 80 that’s a quarter century old.
