Throughout the offseason, fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers have been eagerly awaiting news about the contract status of their team’s superstar running back. They are dying to know if the team is going to lock him down for the foreseeable future. However, as the deadline for long-term contracts with franchise-tagged players draws near, it is not looking good.
As fans scan the Internet for any new and relevant news about their Bell, they may get excited when they hear about the big announcement he made on Twitter. But when they see it what it is, they may get a little disappointed:
26 Savage coming 7/21/17
— Le’Veon Bell (@L_Bell26) July 5, 2017
Bell, like many athletes, likes to envision himself as a budding rap artist. During the offseason, he has been known to hit the studio and work on his rap game. Not as Le’Veon Bell but under the name ‘Juice.’ He released his first mixtape, The Interview, last year. Earlier this year, he released his first studio album, Post Interview.
If you are a fan of rap music, it isn’t bad. If you are a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, you hope he’s not spending too much time in the studio. The Steelers have a chance to make some noise this season–if Bell is ready to go and not too busy with his hobby.
