LeBron James isn’t one to sugarcoat things, and he took to Twitter Tuesday to destroy the notion he’s antsy for the Cleveland Cavaliers to trade Kyrie Irving.

Responding to an article that he saw indicating he’s “eager” for the Cavs to trade his running mate, James tweeted the following message.

Straight from the horse’s mouth.

James seemingly responded to Irving’s trade request recently, and it appeared he felt betrayed by Irving’s trade request. He’s also reportedly made it 100-percent clear that he won’t waive his no-trade clause to try and leave Cleveland, even if Irving is traded and things fall apart.

Cleveland did just sign Derrick Rose, and one report indicates Irving is already as good as gone. So James might not have much say in the matter. But it sure looks like he’s not chomping on the bit to take on the east without Irving, regardless of what some in the media have suggested.

And no wonder. He and Irving have been quite the dynamic duo, helping Cleveland reach three straight NBA Finals, winning one of them.
