LSU baseball has its own version of Ricky Vaugh (aka Wild Thing) in closer Zack Hess, who has come on strong as a key cog in the Tigers’ College World Series run.

Embracing this persona to the maximum, Hess has a new haircut that you might recognize from the movie “Major League.”

You make my heart sing…

Hess didn’t get a chance to do his thing Monday night in Game 1 of the CWS Championship Series against Florida. His team went down early and never led, so the dynamic closer with a live arm was unable to contribute to the cause.

However, chances are we’ll all get to see Hess, whose teammates call him “Psycho,” before the series is over.
