LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were cruising early, up by three over the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Then, everything stopped. James crashed into Tristan Thompson, his jaw slamming into Thompson’s shoulder.
Almost instantly, The King hit the floor, looking awfully dazed.
Worse still, he stayed down for a minute.

The entire stadium, which had been extremely loud as Cavs fans cheered their team on, fell to a hush.

He didn’t stay down, however.
Of course, James jumped right back into the game. He was barely examined by team doctors, telling them he was fine. But if he were playing in the NFL he’d be forced to stay sidelined for a while, because there was a legitimate chance James was concussed on the play.
