Vic Beasley has the sweetest Clemson-themed 2012 Camaro

Before he was a burgeoning NFL superstar playing for the Atlanta Falcons, Vic Beasley was terrorizing quarterbacks at Clemson. As you’re about to see, his love for the Tigers (and their colors) will never wane.

The same can be said for his beloved 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, which Beasley recently had customized in dramatic fashion.

As explained on The ColorBond Blog, Beasley took his Camaro to Eddie Black from Eddie Black’s Restoration.

“When the 2012 Camaro came in to us, it was pretty bad shape body-wise,” Black said. “There were no major parts replaced with the exception of the convertible top at a cost of $2000 plus the cost of ColorBond dye. The interior was done with ColorBond dye at a cost of $280. Cost for 24″ Forgiato Wheels, paint and tires was about $10,000. From start to finish, a conservative estimate is 350 man hours to complete the project.”

That’s a lot of time and effort. But boy, it was all worth it.

They used 2015 Lamborghini Orange Tricolor paint by R&M Diamont Systems on the exterior of the beautiful muscle car. Eddie Black’s Restoration purchased quarts of ColorBond black, white, red and orange, mixed them and shot the color through a LVHP gun to paint the convertible top, dash, and seats — information for those among us who geek out about this sort of thing.

All in all, Beasley’s “new” car is a masterpiece. The custom work it took to put it all together must be lauded as nothing short of magnificent.

Special thanks to Malcolm Johnson (owner of ColorBond Paint) for allowing Sportsnaut to use the images, which first appeared on the company’s blog.
