Russell Westbrook wasn’t interested in Kevin Durant’s dominating performance

Russell Westbrook

As his former Oklahoma Thunder teammate absolutely dominated on the NBA’s grandest stage Thursday night, MVP candidate Russell Westbrook was not about to watch.

Instead, Russ decided to sit back and relax, watching Whoopi Goldberg in “Sister Act 2.”

No, really. Here’s the evidence.

Talk about blacking everything else out.

As Russ was enjoying this classic Whoopi film, Kevin Durant was busy pouring in 38 points with eight rebounds and eight assists as his Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-91 in Game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals.

It was a pretty awesome show from Durant in his first Finals game as a member of the Warriors. Just ask LeBron James.

Though, we know the history here. Russ was bitter over Durant’s exit from Oklahoma City last summer, a bitterness that apparently remains alive today.

At the very least, he enjoyed one of the greatest comics of all-time while his former bestie was doing his thing in Oakland.
