Patriots Super Bowl ring has 283 diamonds to signify historic comeback

The Patriots' Super Bowl ring has 283 diamonds to signify their tremendous comeback.

Months removed from mounting the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history, the New England Patriots were awarded their rings on Friday night.

It was a tremendous event for the defending champs, one that showed quarterback Tom Brady sporting his five rings.

But there was extra relevance to this fifth ring. The Patriots themselves confirmed on Saturday that these rings have 283 diamonds to signify their come back from a 28-3 deficit against the Atlanta Falcons in February’s Super Bowl.

Much like what we see on the field, the Patriots seemingly do everything better than their counterparts. Obviously, the team wasn’t throwing shade the Falcons’ way here. Instead, it was a way for New England to take its celebration to an entirely new level on Friday night.

For that, we definitely applaud the Pats.
