Tim Tebow was supposed to make his debut for the St. Lucie Mets, the High-A affiliate of the New York Mets, on Tuesday. But Mother Nature had other ideas.
Thanks to a driving rainstorm, Tebow’s St. Lucie debut will have to wait until a Wednesday doubleheader.
UPDATE: Tonight’s game has been POSTPONED. We will play a doubleheader on Wednesday starting at 4 p.m. Gates open at 3 p.m. #STLMets

Tebow’s promotion was announced on Sunday.
