Michael Oher posts, then deletes harrowing pic showing pill bottles ‘all for the brain’

Michael Oher

Carolina Panthers offensive tackle Michael Oher is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol. He’s been in the protocol since last September and hasn’t been attending team practices this offseason. He also recently got into some trouble with the law after allegedly attacking an Uber driver.

Things aren’t looking good for the Blind Side subject. And they actually might be worse than most of us can imagine.

Oher posted, then deleted shortly afterwards, a picture Thursday night that showed 10 pill bottles he said were “all for the brain smh.”

One person who saw this and was compassionate was none other than Eugene Monroe.

Monroe is not only a former NFL player. He has become a strong advocate for cannabis as a treatment for head trauma, rather than the opiod drugs the NFL hands out like candy. He elaborated on all that in an interview with Sportsnaut last year.

The NFLPA is also working to change the NFL’s drug policy so cannabis can be utilized to treat inflammation, pain and brain injuries. Jerry Jones and his son, Stephen, have both reportedly banged on the table for reform as well.

Clearly, Oher is in a world of hurt and needs all the help and support possible right now. Taking that many pills cannot be good for one’s body. We hope he can get healthy and well soon.
