Laquon Treadwell: Teddy Bridgewater looks ‘like he was never hurt’

Teddy Bridgewater

One of the more interesting stories in the NFL revolves around Teddy Bridgewater. Will the Minnesota Vikings quarterback return to the field after a gruesome injury ended his 2016 season before it began?

According to receiver Laquon Treadwell, Bridgewater looks fantastic at practice.

“He looked great, really great, like he was never hurt,” Treadwell said, per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press. “That’s God-given talent. He’s a worker and he’s a fighter. … He’s getting (the ball) out really fast, even before you get out of your break, so he’s doing well with the timing. He’s probably a little too fast sometimes, but that’s his competitive nature.”

The news about Bridgewater has been conflicting. He’s certainly impressed his coaches, including head coach Mike Zimmer. But as recently as May, the Vikings were unsure if Bridgewater would ever play again.

Ultimately, only time will tell how successful Bridgewater’s return will end up being. But he’s certainly impressing the right people. The more stories we hear that involve him looking good at practice, the more likely it is that Brigewater will return to the NFL.
