Well, it took a while, but he’s finally done it. Tim Tebow hit his first two home runs as a pro in his first week (and his first on his first at-bat) playing with the Columbia Fireflies, but it wasn’t until Sunday that he finally broke through with his third.
Here’s the blast, in all its glory.

Showing exceptional opposite-field power, Tebow torpedoed that ball well over the left-center wall. From the crack of the bat, it was a no-doubt-about-it bomb.
Heading into this game, Tebow had been in a considerable slump, having hit just twice in his last 27 at-bats. His average took a hit in the process, dipping down to .220. However, all it takes is one hit sometimes to get out of a slump, and perhaps this was the one that’ll get Tim Tebow going again.
Hit or miss, he’s been a boon to ticket sales, and fans continue to flock in to watch him play.
