The Boston Celtics are doing everything they can to scrap their way back into Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Browns. This includes a bit of dirty pool, as Isaiah Thomas attempted to take Kevin Love down by tripping him up with his hand while he was on the ground.

The game was getting chippy late in the third quarter when Thomas pulled this cheap shot.

Now, we understand the Celtics came into the playoffs with a huge chip on their shoulder feeling like nobody respected them as a No. 1 seed. They likely felt the need to step up their intensity after LeBron James showed them up a couple of times.

Thomas was also getting into it with Tristan Thompson around this same time.

But this is no way to prove you’re the top dog.

Heading into the fourth quarter, the Cavaliers led the Celtics by the score of 92-75.
