Jay Cutler’s first game in the FOX booth will be covering Bears

Jay Cutler

Jay Cutler is the newest member of the FOX Sports broadcasting team, and in a stroke of good fortune he’ll get a crack at covering his old team immediately.

Cutler is joining Kevin Burkhardt and Charles Davis to form a new three-man crew for FOX’s No. 2 broadcast team.

And the football gods have certainly smiled upon him. Burkhardt, appearing on Mad Dog Sports Radio with Adam Schein, revealed Cutler’s first game will be in the third week of the preseason when the Chicago Bears hit the road to play against the Tennessee Titans.

One thing we should expect from Cutler, based on Burkhardt’s observation of Cutler’s audition, is that the former quarterback’s “sarcastic humor” will likely be on display quite a bit. And we all know Cutler just don’t care, so it’s going to be fascinating to see how things work out, especially as he covers his old team.
