New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will appear on the cover of Madden 18, G.O.A.T. Edition. The future Hall of Fame quarterback has since gone public via his Instagram to prove that there is no such thing as the “Madden Curse.”

This so-called curse has seen many star Madden cover NFL athletes failing to live up to the hype, either due to lack of production or injury.

Brady obviously isn’t buying into any of that. Neither is retired former Oakland Raiders safety, Charles Woodson.

TMZ Sports caught up with Woodson to ask if he believes Brady could be subject to the “Madden Curse.” Woodson quickly dismissed that notion and said Brady has five championships, noting “how do you curse a guy with five championships?”

Woodson also told the reporters that Brady is “gonna be fine.”

That is a gleaming vote of confidence coming from one future NFL Hall of Famer to another.

Brady himself has been having quite a bit of fun over the last couple of days telling the world that he is “not buying this curse.”

See for yourself.

For all parties involved, let’s hope Brady and Woodson prove to be right.
