Aaron Hernandez suicide note reveals he knew death would pay off

Killer Inside Netflix

When former NFL tight end Aaron Hernandez was found dead due to suicide in his jail cell, three notes were left behind.

One that has just been revealed is a note to Hernandez’s fiancee in which he tells her near the end “you’re rich.” This news comes courtesy of TMZ Sports who obtained a copy of the note. Here is the complete text of the note.

“Shay,

You have always been my soul-mate and I want you to love life and know I’m always with you. I told you what was coming indirectly! I love you so much and know you are an angel – literally! We split into two to come change the world! Your characteristics is that of a true angel and the definition of God’s love! Tell my story fully but never think anything besides how much I love you. This was the Supreme’s, the Almighty’s plan, not mine! I love you! Let (redacted) know how much I love her! Look after (redacted) and (redacted) for me – they are my boys (you’re rich). I knew I loved you = Savage Garden”

Since Hernandez has technically died an innocent man, the New England Patriots will likely have to pay Hernandez’s estate the $6 million salary left on the books. The beneficiary of Hernandez’s estate is his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez.

It will be interesting to see what position the Patriots take on this financial issue. It is also worth keeping tabs on what happens as the Lloyd family pursues its civil suit against Hernandez for murdering Odin Lloyd. Hernandez was serving a life sentence for killing Lloyd back in 2013.

The Lloyd family lawyer recently said they were going to attempt to go after that $6 million to help aid the families affected in the double-murder case in which Hernandez was found innocent.

Due to a Massachusetts state law, Hernandez died not guilty because his appeals process had not been exhausted.
