Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas lost a tooth during the first game of the second-round series against the Washington Wizards.
Going for a steal, his mouth met the elbow of Otto Porter Jr., and one of those pearly whites just came popping out.

This didn’t stop Thomas from contributing, as he ended up knocking down a trey shortly afterwards.
However, after a while he did head back to the locker room, presumably to get a mouthpiece and find somewhere safe to stash his tooth.
Boston is in an early hole in Game 1, down 36-22 late in the first quarter at the time of this writing.
