The social media site Twitter may have lost out to Amazon for the rights to stream NFL games this upcoming season, but it surely will be keeping the interest of sports fans.

Starting Friday night when the Milwaukee Brewers host the Chicago Cubs, Twitter will stream four MLB games for free during the opening month of the season.

The awesome thing here is that all these games are available to an international market. The only exception being the local market in which the two teams taking to the field play (via Cord Cutter News).

The rest of the April slate is as follows:

April 14: New York Mets at Miami Marlins

April 21: Boston Red Sox at Baltimore Orioles

April 28: Cincinnati Reds at St. Louis Cardinals

Note that all the games are on Friday. That’s surely not a bad start to the weekend for baseball fans that have not subscribed to traditional services on television.
