The details of Aaron Hernandez’s final hours may never be fully known. What we do know is that the former NFL star was found dead in his prison cell in what has been reported as a suicide. However, based on new information, other people might have been involved in some capacity or another, either before or after he died.

“John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Obviously these are disturbing details. We don’t know who wrote “John 3:16” on his forehead. It might have been Hernandez himself before taking his own life, or it might indicate foul play, as his lawyer has alluded to.

Hernandez had just been acquitted in the double-murder case that dominated headlines the past few weeks, so the timing of all this is definitely strange.
