The NBA is knee-deep into a peanut butter and jelly addiction, but perhaps no team is as devoted as the Milwaukee Bucks.
“Everybody here loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They’re so amazing. I think everybody eats at least two per game,” said Rashad Vaughn, via CBS58.
“Actually before I got into the NBA I used to eat ’em, pregame and stuff. You know, it is a thing because – pregame – you must have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It’s not too heavy. It’s not super light. For guys like myself, we’re trying to maintain a certain weight,” said Thon Maker.
There are certainly options in Milwaukee’s locker room when it comes to PB&J. Baxter Holmes’ March story for ESPN.com details a spread that features three different types of peanut butter, five different types of jellies, three types of bread, and Nutella.
PB&J has gotten Milwaukee this far, so it’s tough to argue with the method as they head into the postseason.
