The Oklahoma Sooner will not be banking on the return of cornerback Parrish Cobb from suspension when the 2017 season comes calling.

For the second time in three months, Cobb finds himself on the police blotter. This time, the former four-star recruit was arrested and charged with armed robbery in Norman, Oklahoma.

“The victim stated that two black males entered his apartment and pointed semi-automatic handguns at him and his roommate. The two suspects then stole cash and drugs from the residence before leaving on foot,” the Norman Police Department said in a statement. “No one was injured during the incident. One of the suspects concealed his identity with a mask and gloves. The second suspect did not conceal his identity and was later identified by one of the victims as 19-year-old Parrish Cobb.”

Cobb, who originally committed to Baylor before that school’s sexual assault scandal, was arrested back in January and charged with three felonies, including first-degree aggravated robbery, an incident that took place in Texas (via CBS Sports).

Cobb played sparingly as freshman for Oklahoma last season, recording seven tackles in four games. On the field, he was expected to take on a larger role this upcoming season.

That can now pretty much be thrown out the window.

Cobb was suspended by both the program and the school following his arrest in January. It goes without saying that he’s unlikely to ever suit up with the Sooners again.
