We can’t take too much stock in an impending free agent hanging out with the powers to be on another team. But when Derrick Rose showed his face at the United Center in Chicago, it was a pretty surprising moment for everyone involved.

The former MVP was traded from the Chicago Bulls to the New York Knicks last summer after spending eight largely successful seasons as the face of the franchise in Chicago.
Now set to become a free agent this summer, Rose was seen hanging out with Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf after Chicago lost Game 4 to the Boston Celtics at home Sunday night.

If we were to somehow draw a conclusion that this meeting included talk about a potential reunion, that is almost certainly a possibility. Though, neither of the men in the conversation would admit to this due to NBA tampering rules.
It’s also important to note that Chicago has fellow point guard Rajon Rondo under contract through the 2017-18 season. It’s still rather interesting to see the two chum it up.
