Check out this absurd play from Twins 2B Brian Dozier

Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier is no stranger to making some ridiculous plays in the field. It’s one of the reasons he’s posted a .989-plus fielding percentage in each of the past four seasons and owned a 0.8 defensive WAR a season ago.

Chicago White Sox catcher Geovany Soto found this out first-hand Saturday against Dozier and the Twins.

How he made this play is absolutely baffling. As you can see, the ball bounced up off the infield from the pitcher’s mound, making the play that much more difficult. Dozier would go on to flip the ball to start what would end up being a 4-6-3 double play.

Props to Dozier for this highlight-reel play.
