New York Mets spring training has been a struggle for Tim Tebow. But on Monday, Tebow earned himself a spring batting average and recorded his first hit.

Entering Monday’s action, Tebow had only reached base once in the spring. He was hit by a pitch and promptly doubled off after a line drive to the second baseman.
Judging by the reaction of the fans, there’s certainly no question that Tebow still has followers.
If nothing else, this hit will serve as a good memory for Tebow on his quest to become a professional baseball player.
