Tom Brady got some tremendous personal news on Monday morning when news broke that the FBI had recovered his two stolen Super Bowl jerseys.

The New England Patriots quarterback released a statement later on Monday in which he expressed his happiness about the recoveries.

The Super Bowl LI jersey holds significance for Brady on a couple different fronts.

For one, he was able to celebrate the title with his mother, who’s was battling illness the 18 months leading up to the big game.

On top of that, though of less importance in the grand scheme of things, is the fact that Brady’s win in Super Bowl LI was his fifth as a pro. This made him the most successful title-winning quarterback in NFL history.

We have no doubt that the Brady family will be able to “make something very positive come from this experience” and wish them well.
