Saints’ Cameron Jordan not happy with Brandin Cooks trade

Brandin Cooks

We can count Cameron Jordan as one man who is unhappy with the New Orleans Saints’ decision to trade Brandin Cooks to the New England Patriots.

Shortly after the trade, which you can read about here, Jordan took to Twitter to voice his displeasure.

It’s not as if the Saints got nothing for Cooks. They landed a first and third rounder from New England.

But if a proven player like Cooks is moved, veteran players generally like to see proven assets coming back. Draft picks often take a year or two to develop. And by that time, Jordan may not be with the Saints anymore.

If nothing else, the New Orleans may need to work hard to convince Jordan that the move was a good one for the team. Otherwise, the Saints risk having at least one unhappy player. Chances are, he’s not alone, either.
