Originally a fourth-round selection out of Utah State by the Seattle Seahawks, Turbin spent his first three seasons in the Pacific Northwest. He then bounced between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns in 2015 before landing in Indy last season.
As a member of the Colts in 2016, Turbin wasn’t utilized often on the ground, gaining just 164 yards on 47 carries. However, he was a battering ram in the end zone, rushing for seven touchdowns, and was a solid receiver, racking up 26 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown through the air.
Likely, Turbin will continue in that role in 2017 as Frank Gore continues to defy Father Time.
