Report: Eagles pursuing CB A.J. Bouye

A.J. Bouye

The Philadelphia Eagles are in need of help at the cornerback position, so it’s not surprising they’re looking at bringing A.J. Bouye aboard in free agency.

Bouye is one of the hottest defensive players set to hit the free agency market on March 9. He, and every other free agent with representation, is able to communicate with teams the next few days as the legal tampering period kicks into high gear.

If the Eagles are serious about landing the young cornerback, who was originally an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida, then they better be ready to break the bank. He burst onto the scene this past season with the Houston Texan and was a veritable star during the playoffs against the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots.

Philly isn’t the only franchise that is going to be in touch with Bouye in the coming days. He’s likely going to have his pick of teams to choose from, and we can’t wait to see where he lands.
