It might have taken a little longer than expected, but the Buffalo Bills have retained one of their most-productive players from a season ago.
According to Sal Capaccio of WGR 550 in Buffalo, the Bills have re-signed Pro Bowl pass rusher Lorenzo Alexander.
The Buffalo Bills and Lorenzo Alexander have reached terms on a new contract. Pro bowl linebacker returning on a 2 year deal.

Alexander, 28, is coming of a career-best performance in 2016 that saw him rack up 12.5 sacks to go with three forced fumbles and an interception. To put this into perspective, the 10-year veteran had put up a total of nine sacks in his first nine NFL seasons with three different teams.
It’s said to be a two-year, $9 million deal with $4.1 million guaranteed. Not a bad little payday for someone who was viewed as nothing more than a special teams standout prior to this past season.
