This is not a scenario anyone wants to see happen. Less than a week removed from taking part in the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, former Washington cornerback Sidney Jones was carted off the field Saturday during the Huskies Pro Day in Seattle.

The injury itself looks to be really bad, with reports surfacing that Jones had to be carted off the practice field.

Based on these reports, it looks to be either an ankle or Achilles injury for the likely first-round pick in this year’s NFL draft.

That’s just a horrible development for a player in Jones who is coming off a 2016 season that saw him earn First-Team All Pac 12 honors for the second consecutive year.

Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller has Jones as his 19th-best overall player in the 2017 NFL Draft. Depending on the severity of this injury, the cornerback could fall drastically once the draft itself takes place this spring in Philadelphia.
