Formerly an NBA exclusive, cryptic tweets have made their way to the National Football League. Josh Gordon tweeted “Blessed be the Football Gods” Thursday in apparent reference to, well, nobody knows.

Our best guess is that Gordon will be or has been reinstated.

The wide receiver applied for reinstatement in early March, but after numerous suspensions it will take real effort on his part to get back in the league. The Cleveland Browns were reportedly ready to move on from him back in September (more on that here), but never officially made a move.

If Gordon does end up on the field this season, we wish him the best of luck. But it’s tough to see that as likely after all of the suspensions. One would imagine that, in such a scenario, Gordon would likely not be in Cleveland, but that’s thinking too far ahead after a mere cryptic tweet.
