One celebrity took to Twitter on Wednesday pleading for free agent receiver DeSean Jackson to join the Buccaneers — Backstreet Boy Nick Carter.
Celebrities are certainly not above pitching their favorite teams as possible destinations for their favorite athletes. Carter did just that.

Well, there you have it.
Carter is certainly right about one thing. The Washington Redskins don’t exactly have a reputation for appreciating their stars.
The Buccaneers are one of many teams who would make Jackson feel more wanted. They reportedly are willing to pay him more than $10 million per year to land him (more on that here).
Will it work? Who knows? But the other teams are now going to have to top Carter’s celebrity endorsement. Good luck with that.
