Russell Wilson on Super Bowl: ‘I’m coming for you 52’

Now that Super Bowl LI is in the bag and Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have once again cliched the title, it’s time to envision which two teams might play in next year’s title game.

It appears Seattle Seahawks Russell Wilson already has this covered.

Looks like a date. Wilson has played in two Super Bowls since he was drafted in 2012. The Lombardi he is hoisting here is from the Seahawks’ victory over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 48.

Unfortunately this time around, Wilson’s Seahawks fell short. They were badly defeated (36-20) by the Atlanta Falcons in the division round of the playoffs.

But now all 32 NFL teams are on a clean slate heading into the 2017 campaign. The Seahawks are certainly a realistic candidate to consider for Super Bowl LII. And it would not be too much of a stretch to see them once again mingling with the Patriots, just as they did in Super Bowl XLIX.
