Oh, what a tangled web we weave. Mychal Thompson played in the NBA for 13 seasons, the final four-plus of which with the Los Angeles Lakers. He’s currently a broadcaster with the Lakers. Thompson’s son, Klay, plays for the division-rival Golden State Warriors.
Just imagine those Thanksgiving dinners.
But it surely looks like Mychal sides with his son’s team when it comes to a feud with the Oklahoma City Thunder. During Golden State’s outing against the Thunder in Oklahoma City, the ongoing theme was fans of the home team wearing items with cupcake symbols. The idea was to troll Kevin Durant, who signed with Golden State from the Thunder this past July.
Okay, so now that you know the obvious. It just gets a lot better. Mychal Thompson sent out a tweet trolling the Thunder in the best possible way.
If He's a "cupcake " OKC…I'll take a Dozen to go

Burn.
In response to his pop’s tweet, Klay had this to say.

Talk about burning the candle on two ends right there.
As it is, Golden State absolutely dominated the Thunder to the tune of 130-114 this past weekend. It has now defeated Russell Westbrook and Co. by a combined 63 points in three games this season.
No wonder the Warriors and their family’s are embracing this whole cupcake thing.
