Super Bowl commercials are always a bit part of the game day entertainment. In fact some people choose to watch the Super Bowl just for the commercials alone.

This is a wonderful thing for Fox, which aired Super Bowl LI and raked in an estimated $509.6 million in commercial revenue — a staggering amount.

It only helped that this was the first game in Super Bowl history to go into overtime. So Fox really made out there, with some extra minutes of game play sandwiched in between a few more television ads.

To top off the overall success of the Super Bowl, it was reportedly the most-watched television broadcast in history.
