WATCH: Minor league hockey goalie fight ends abruptly with one-punch KO

During a game between the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones and Quad City Mallards, Cyclones goalies Michael Houser and Adam Vay had a score to settle.

The two squared off with their gloves off around center ice, and the fight ended abruptly when Houser went down hard following a one-punch knockout blow by Vay.

Apparently Vay is trained in MMA, and it clearly showed here.

The best part besides the knockout punch is when Vay, concerned for his fellow goalie, immediately goes towards Houser to see if he’s okay.

“I really love fighting but I’m not thinking about killing this guy or beating (him up),” Vay said last year, per the Daily Star. “I’m 100% focused on the puck and the fight is not my business on the ice.”

What a good sport.
