The good thing about meaningless Week 17 games is that they often produce fun gadget plays not normally seen. Cameron Meredith and Matt Barkley connected on one of those for the Chicago Bears.

While such plays are not normal, they are not unprecedented.
This is the second touchdown reception in as many weeks for quarterbacks. In Week 16, Blake Bortles caught a touchdown pass from Marqise Lee for the Jacksonville Jaguars, which you can see here. Earlier in the season, Doug Baldwin and Russell Wilson connected on a similar play for the Seattle Seahawks, which you can see here.
Barkley’s touchdown reception was Chicago’s first score in the game. The touchdown cut the Minnesota Vikings lead to 17-7.
