Report: NFLPA reviewing relationship with Uber after ‘strike busting tactics’

This story has been updated.

According to Albert Breer of MMQB, the NFL Players Association is reviewing its relationship with ride-share company Uber in wake of its decision to operate in New York City when the city’s taxis went on strike over the weekend to protest the Trump administrations immigration policy.

The strike itself lasted just over an hour. It didn’t include ride-sharing companies such as Lyft or Uber. Though, Lyft itself decided to toe the company line here and went on strike as well.

Both Lyft and Uber have been in the news surrounding this entire drama since it started on Friday. While Lyft’s CEO has come out against the immigration policy, Uber’s top dog has defended his relationship with Trump.
