Tom Brady got awfully heated last weekend when Jadeveon Clowney tackled him to the ground after he released the ball, and now the pass rusher will have to pay for it.
Literally.

Here’s the play that earned Clowney the huge financial slap on the wrist.

To be quite honest, this is ridiculous. As Ray Lewis tweeted, “It’s called football Brady.”
In no way, shape or form did Clowney threaten to injure Brady, and it’s arguable that it wasn’t even a late hit. He didn’t hit him high. He didn’t hit him low.
You have to believe Clowney will be appealing this insane fine.
