Dirk Koetter takes shot at critical Buccaneers fans

Dirk Koetter isn't a fan of all the Hard Knocks questions

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers improved vastly this season compared to last and finished with a 9-7 record. This was enough to see the team finish in second place in the NFC South. All of this is quite impressive considering it was the Bucs’ best finish since 2007 and that it is just the second season for quarterback Jameis Winston.

This unfortunately has not stopped critics from complaining about the job Dirk Koetter has done coaching the Bucs. Responding to his critics, Koetter decided to address the naysayers with a bit of humor.

“You know, I’d love to come to everybody who doesn’t think I’m doing a good job, I’d like to come to hang out with them at work one day. Maybe I could criticize them,” Koetter said, per joebucsfan.com.”

Koetter’s words got him an official invitation to JoeBucsFan.com’s headquarters.

“How cool would that be? Coach, you have an open invitation to JoeBucsFan.com world headquarters. Pizza and beer is on the house.”

We would love to see Koetter actually take JoeBucsFan.com up on the offer.

The chippy head coach also had this to say regarding fans complaining from the sidelines about his playcalling.

“I’m ok with it; it doesn’t mean I have to agree with it.”

Unfortunately, the Buccaneers missed the playoffs this time around. But their improvement overall during Winston’s second season is noteworthy. The team definitely a threat within their division moving forward.
