Colin Kaepernick’s controversial decision to kneel during the national anthem this past year drew plenty of criticism, but you’d have to be pretty cold to find fault with the way he’s put his money where his mouth is in the months since.
In addition to donating $100,000 each month for 10 months, as well as taking clothing and bedding to needy this holiday season, Kaepernick has now given away his massive shoe collection to benefit the homeless in San Francisco.
Here’s a feature on his incredible collection of Nike sneakers.
And here’s a video showing the quarterback packing it all up to give away.

Whatever you think about how Kaepernick has chosen to make his point about injustice in America, he’s clearly got his heart in the right place. We can’t wait to see what else Kaepernick has in store in the coming years to help those who have been dealt a tough hand in this world.
