Blazers send out tweet showing frustration over All-Star snubs

For the second consecutive season, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard has been snubbed as it relates to a spot on the Western Conference All-Star team. Reserves were announced on Thursday with both Lillard and back-court partner C.J. McCollum failing to make the team.

Instead, the Golden State Warriors received two more nods with Klay Thompson and Draymond Green joining starters Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry on a team that’s likely going to be coached by Steve Kerr.

Needless to say, the Blazers are not too happy with these snubs. And they made it known on social media.

One of these players may very well end up on the All-Star team, but they were not picked as reserves. They’ll have to wait and see whether another player drops out due to injury.

At 20-27 on the season, Portland itself is having a down year. Though, Lillard and McCollum continue to produce at a high level. Lillard is averaging 26.2 points and 5.8 assists while his teammate is shooting at a 42 percent clip from distance and averaging a hair over 23 points per outing.
