It’s no secret that New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis is adored in his home country of Latvia. And it shouldn’t surprise you that he won the Latvian Athlete of the Year award for 2016.
But nobody could have seen what’s coming next. Just check out Porzingis’ elderly female relatives singing a victory song as they accepted the award in his honor.
The lyrics to the song are as follows:
