Von Miller gifts every AFC West player bottle of custom wine

Von Miller is not only one of the NFL’s best sack artists, he’s also a generous, thoughtful soul. Heading into the month of December when the league’s playoff races heat up the most, Miller gave out a bottle of custom wine to every single AFC West player, according to Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post.

This gift wasn’t just for starters, either. Miller gave a bottle of the wine, called The Setting, to every player, including those on injured reserve and practice squads.

That’s a lot of vino — a generous gift indeed.

Per Jhabvala, the wine was crafted by Jesse Katz, a Boulder native who founded Devil Proof Vineyards and Aperture Cellars in California.

Each bottle bears the stamp of Miller’s larger than life personality.

“On the label of each bottle is an orange outline of eye-glasses, Miller’s signature accessory, and his signature.”

Miller, who had some early off-field issues during his career, has become quite the model citizen these days. One of the more interesting characters around the league, he’s making it awfully hard for his opponents to harbor anything but happy thoughts about him when not engaged directly with him on the gridiron.
