The Minnesota Vikings have had themselves a rocky season. After starting with a 5-0 record, the team has lost seven of nine and is on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs.

Though, their on-field performance hasn’t been anywhere near as rocky as what happened to the team as it traveled to Green Bay to take on the Packers.

According to multiple media reports, the Vikings’ team plane slide off the runway at Appleton International Airport in Wisconsin on Friday and became stuck in grass.

Per the Star Tribune.

“Playing their last road game of the regular season, the Vikings’ team plane slid off the runway at Appleton International Airport and became stuck in the grass,” the report read.

The Vikings themselves followed this up with a tweet.

The good news here is that everyone seems to be okay on the flight. It was likely more of a jolt for the members of the organization. It’s also somewhat of a nuisance considering the team had to wait in the plane for at least two hours before unboarding.
