Tyler Eifert shouts out ‘Pimp Daddy Rob’ Gronkowski after back surgery

Tyler Eifert

Tyler Eifert and Rob Gronkowski are two of the NFL’s top tight ends, and both underwent back surgery that ended their seasons early this year.

Gronk made headlines when he sent out an Instagram message to his followers about hitting the dance floor as he shuffled along with a walker post surgery.

Rehab day 1! “Can’t nobody hold me down… Oo no I got to keep on movin”

Three weeks later, Eifert went under the knife, and after he came out of surgery he sent a similar message, shouting out Gronkowski in the process.

“Pimp Daddy Rob,” Eifert jokes as he uses a walker to get around. “I’ve been walking around looking for that dance floor. Let me know where it’s at. I’m ready.”

It’s been a frustrating season for Eifert, who missed the first six weeks of the season with an ankle injury suffered in the Pro Bowl following the 2015 season. Then he was injured in Week 15, necessitating back surgery.

One of the primary offensive weapons for the Cincinnati Bengals, Eifert has caught 20 touchdowns in his first 37 games. We wish him well in his recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the field in 2017.
